A new branch bank situated on route 1 in Waldoboro is designed as a commercial building with residential attributes. This new 2,800 s.f. establishment consists of largely wood construction. The interior has a large lobby flanked by offices and a conference room. An ample teller area is fronted by a handcrafted, arched teller counter complimented by an arched soffit above. Visual continuity is maintained at all times with the use of interior windows in the office spaces. There is a full basement for the use of mechanical systems, a break room, storage, and bathrooms. Energy conservation is implemented by the use of high efficiency T-8 fluorescent pendant light fixtures and high efficiency gas boiler.
